This is my first facial, what should I expect?
Well first of all welcome! You should plan on blocking out about an hour and a half to two hours, in order to accommodate the consultation time. A facial experience is designed to be very relaxing (many people fall asleep), and our high potency products will have you waking up positively glowing! You will not believe you waited so long for this experience.
What is a facial and what does it do?
Facials are essentially multi step skin treatments that are designed to address a plethora of skin conditions. Many people enjoy facials for purely the element of deep relaxation and refreshment. Facials will all begin with cleansing the skin twice, most facials incorporate steam during the cleanse process. We will then perform a skin analysis, followed by exfoliation of the skin, extractions, a relaxing facial massage with lymphatic drainage, custom mask, and finished with a custom serum and moisturizer/sunscreen.
Can I get a facial if I am pregnant/breastfeeding?
Absolutely! Most pregnant women get hormonal breakouts, and a facial is a great way to lay back and relax. Almost all our facials are safe for pregnancy, so we will choose one to address your needs. It is advised by health care professionals to refrain from breastfeeding for 48 hours after service. In line with doctor safety protocols, body massage will be omitted from service.
Will I turn red or break out after my facial?
For the majority of clients you will come out of a facial with glowing, healthy skin. However, if you have sensitive skin you may notice a flushed appearance, but it should subside within an hour or two. Acne clients may notice some redness following extractions.
How often can I get a facial?
Facial frequency is relative to your skin treatment plan. During initial treatment phase it may be necessary to get one every one to two weeks. However, once your skin has reached the maintenance phase, facials are only needed once a month. Proper at home care will decrease the need for facial frequence.
Can I wear makeup after a facial?
The short answer is yes, you can. However it is always better to let the skin continue to breathe and soak in the vitamins and nutrients. Wearing makeup will not affect the facial results.

Do you use aromatherapy?
Yes, aromatherapy is incorporated during the steaming process, as well as during facial to invoke a relaxing experience. Don't want aromatherapy? No problem! Please just let us know upon arrival.
What happens during my consultation?
During your initial consultation we will have a candid conversation to assess your needs, perform a skin analysis, and then work on creating a treatment plan tailored to you. This will include determining if you have any contraindications to service, focusing on what you want to improve, and going over educational material, and proper at home care routine.
Do you do facials for men?
Of course! Facials are slowly becoming more popular among men, and we will help you pick one to address your skin concerns.
